book is in it's final editing phase, the plan is to provide a signed
limited hard bound edition for the 2009 X-MAS season. At the same
time, a soft cover version will also be available. |

After much consideration, I have selected an
e-commerce system to provide the option to order event photos online.
I plan to offer several of my fine art photos and landscapes for sale

Chautauqua Iconic Photo Workshop |

I have agreed to run the Iconic Images
photography workshop that is part of the 2009 Chautauqua. The
workshop is geared toward the high school level participation; I will
not keep anyone out if they wish to attend. The workshop will be held
at the Rohan Photography Studio and Gallery, as well as at the high
school computer lab. The workshop will take a look at photography
during the 1930, depression, and dust bowl. The class will also go
out into the community to find Iconic images from the area that will
be submitted fore use in the main Chautauqua celebration in June 2009. |

Ribbon Cutting |
|
The Plattsmouth Chamber of Commerce hosted a
ribbon cutting for the grand opening of my new studio on March 5th
2009. Attendance for the event was about 30 people from the business
community and Chamber leadership. Refreshments were provided and
studio tours were conducted prior to the official group photo was
taken in front of the building. |

Painting and construction continues - a few leaks
have shown themselves, but they will have to wait till spring -
posted a few shoots and am starting to get a good feel for the
dynamics of the new studio. The all white walls will turn everything
into a bounce card - hope to have some time to test out some new
lighting scheems and ideas. I hope to take the next few months to
update the porfolios so they reflect the current look and style of my photos. |

Greetings all - The website is in the process of
under going a major up-grads and clean-up - so watch out for broken
links - the long search for a studio location is over - I have
startrd to more into the new home of Rohan Photography - it is
locatied at 521 main street - Plattsmouth Nebraska - in the center of
the Main Street historic district and national registry - I hope to
have a open house shortly after the first of the year - for the time
being - the building is being painted and some repair work is in progress. |
