It has been brought to my attention that I do not
seem to post images from shoots that I mention in conversations with
people I come into contact with in the course my travels, so due to a
minor demand - here is a quick sample of images from projects from
the last year or so that have never been on the site - hope you enjoy
them. I have also posted some new galleries on the main page.
all the best

The Honorable Michael W. Wynne, 21st Secretary of
the Air Force and me on a DV tour to Offutt AFB. I even got a cool
challenge coin that is very hard to beat - only two better in the
pecking order - so watch out. |

Omaha Boy Scouts of America Silver Bever award
ceremony - this guy was getting his 70 year in scouting pin - wow
thats like 25,550 good turns in a life time. |

Fun with a mini flash light on a string - I ran
around the back yard and made light circles - need to do more of
these when it gets warm. Also plan to work on some light painting
projects over the summer. note to self - be sure to pick up the
fallen branches in the yard first. |
|
Got to play with the Air Force Night Vision lens
system in preparation for the 2007 Operational Reddiness Inspection.
In truth - we didn't have to use the system - we had no late night
alert calls to the flight line, but it was so very cool. |

My past photo projects still haunt me, the stand up
santa sign was something I did in the distand past when I was working
for Treasure Photo - I always try to take a picture of the stand up
when I run across one - I see that this version has had some
modifications from the original. |

Christmas day - attempted to get some new promo
shots of the now 40 pounds lighter me - managed to get one or two
good ones while I had access to the BIG 800 mm lens. This is the one
that Nikon makes you take the blood oath to buy. It will also scare
wolves away in Yellowstone. |

Wandered and ran across this wonderful sunset in
the church parking lot in Plattsmouth. The tree has since had several
large limbs come down and it is now mis-shappen. I don't think it
will last more that a few more years before someone has to cut it
down for safety. |

Tried to do a classic lunar progression shot during
the lunar eclips, but a temprature of almost 2 degrees tended to kill
the batteries and my enthusiasm for the project - hope for a nice
warn summer night for the next event. I did have a clear night (read
cold) and the eclips had a deep red color at the totality, but the
camera was dead by then. |

Me on a ladder during the Markel Auto complex shoot
- Photo by Rick A. Gerbeling. This was project of Envoy marketing -
they needed a panoramic of the complex for the 100 year annaversery.
Note to self - be sure to build in more Photoshop time on the next project. |

My new office at the LeMay Building - look a real
door! This is the office the Robert (Bobbie) Pitard, the SAC official
photographer used for almost 30 years - he was in this office before
they put the missiles up in front of the building. |
